Engineered for Your Site
WRAS-Approved Water Storage Systems
Stored water is only as safe as the tank holding it. Ageing, poorly sealed or undersized tanks lead to stagnation, sediment build-up and temperature gain, all of which create a real risk of bacterial growth and leave sites falling short of their duty under the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and ACoP L8.
We design, supply and install sectional and one-piece GRP cold water storage tanks, sprinkler tanks and process vessels, all built from WRAS-approved materials. Every installation covers base and support steelwork, insulated and screened tanks with lockable access, correctly sized pipework and overflows, and full chlorination and commissioning before handover, so your system is signed off and ready for service.

Why Upgrade Your Water Storage Tank
Old steel and concrete tanks corrode, leak and allow light and debris in, giving bacteria ideal conditions to multiply. A modern insulated GRP tank protects water quality and brings the installation back into compliance.
Protect Water Quality
Sealed, screened and insulated tanks keep out light, insects and debris, and hold stored water at a safe temperature to limit bacterial growth.
ACoP L8 & WRAS Compliance
Installed to meet the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations, ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance, using WRAS-approved materials throughout.
Tanks Sized to Demand
Sectional tanks are configured to your capacity, turnover and plant room access, from compact loft tanks to large sprinkler stores.
Built for Long Service Life
GRP panels will not corrode like steel or spall like concrete, giving decades of service with straightforward inspection and cleaning.
What Our Tank Installations Include
A complete installation package covering survey, design, supply, fit-out and commissioning. Every tank is sized to your actual demand and turnover, then chlorinated, tested and certified before it is handed back into service.

Our Proven Process
Our Installation Process
Step-01
Site Survey & Tank Design
We survey the plant room or compound, assess access, capacity and turnover, then specify a tank configuration that fits the space and meets demand.
Step-02
Base Preparation & Strip-Out
The old tank is drained, broken down and removed, and a level base with correctly spaced steelwork supports is prepared to carry the new tank.
Step-03
Tank Build & Pipework
Sectional panels are built in situ, then insulated, screened and connected to correctly sized inlet, outlet, overflow and warning pipework.
Step-04
Chlorination & Commissioning
The tank is filled, chlorinated and flushed to BS 8558, then sampled and tested before certification and handover documentation are issued.
Common Questions
Explore Our Frequently Asked Questions
Are your tanks WRAS-approved?
Yes. All tanks are manufactured from WRAS-approved materials suitable for potable water, and installations are carried out to meet the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations, ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
Can you install a tank without shutting off our water?
In most cases, yes. Twin-compartment tanks allow one side to stay in service while the other is worked on, and temporary storage or phased changeovers can be arranged where a full shutdown is not practical.
What size tank will we need?
Capacity is based on your daily demand, occupancy and the turnover needed to prevent stagnation, balanced against plant room access. Oversized tanks are a common cause of poor water quality, so we size to actual usage rather than simply replacing like for like.
Why choose GRP over steel or concrete?
GRP will not corrode like steel or spall like concrete, and sectional panels can be carried through standard doorways and built in situ, which makes replacement far easier in plant rooms with restricted access.
How long does an installation take?
A straightforward tank replacement typically takes two to five days including strip-out, build and commissioning. Larger sprinkler or process installations run longer, and we confirm a programme at survey stage.
